Worked on social strategy, global tone of voice, and was responsible for every global and local post that came out of official adidas Originals social handles.
Projects
Project manager on the build of the adidasoriginals tumblr. Worked on concepting, build, content strategy, content publishing and paid media on this project, which was picked up by The FWA and awwwards, among others.
As we published we continusouly monitored the analytics of posts, and reactively pushed successful successful imagery. You can see an example of this to the left, where one post gained more than 124'000 notes.
We also commissioned series' of tumblr art, with artists who enjoyed particular success on the platform, like gif artist Davidope.
Re-launch of Stan Smith - Twitter activation
To re-launch one of the most iconic silhouttes of all time we created a social media activation to drive awareness of the launch and turn brands into advocates of the shoe.
Our solution was to develop a Twitter activation in which Stan himself invited people to see themselves on the Stan Smith tongue label by tweeting a selfie with the hashtag #stansmith. We developed a newsroom of Community Managers and art workers in London, Amsterdam, Portland and Thailand who worked for five days, turning people's selfies into personalised, digital Stan Smith tongues.
We processed over 24'000 tweets during the five days and sent out more than 2'000 bespoke tongue graphics. During the week the @adidasoriginals twitter gained over 15'000 new followers, and achieved coverage on major lifestyle sites such as Complex.
Instagram Content Strategy
Working on Instagram content strategy, with a variety of product releases, influencer activations and trend marketing exclusives.
Examples: Influencer lifestyle activations with Ysa Perez to introduce the City pack, and co-ordination of the launch of the partnership with Pharrell Williams across all global and local social outlets.
Facebook Content Strategy
Responsible for strategy and publishing of all content on adidas Originals Facebook.
This included an activation to celebrate 15 million fans, in which we asked our fans to opt in to become part of something big. Once they opted in, we took their profile image, and made it part of a collage of a superstar influencer, with a 'thank you' message for getting involved. It made brand advocates of thousands or our 'likers', and put them in the centre of our social presence.
